The Minister of Industry, Mining and Trade said: Industry is alive with new knowledge and technologies and knowledge-based companies, and on the other hand, knowledge-based companies are able to continue their activities by connecting to the market and supplying products.
According to Shata Mohammad Shariatmadari, in a meeting with managers of start-ups and knowledge-based companies, which was held during a visit to Pardis Technology Park, with the first vice president, he added: “Turning an idea into a commercial work that can be sold in the market is a difficult task, and on the other hand, knowledge companies Foundations are doomed without a connection to the market and product offering, and we must do everything we can to connect them.
Shariatmadari added: The life-giving elixir of Iran’s economy is attention to science and knowledge that is formed in these technology parks.
The Minister of Industry, Mining and Trade stated: Universities and other executive bodies must do their work properly to help the knowledge-based sector.
He clarified: Although a lot of services have been provided in Sanat complex, we don’t have a table for the activities of academics, but in Idro, as a leading development organization, the field was provided and it participated in this field.
Shariatmadari added: In innovative activities, we are trying to do the part of the government duty that is the responsibility of the Ministry of Industry, Mines and Trade correctly in order to remove any obstacles to the development of these activities.
He said: “The local life that we are talking about is not something mysterious and the business environment should be modified for the presence of start-ups and these types of companies should be activated.”
Shariatmadari emphasized: We need to improve the business environment for the newly established companies so that these companies can breathe, and this is the great task of the government, and I promise to use all my efforts during my term of responsibility to make this happen.
Pointing to the need to pay attention to the investment and risk-taking sector, he added: In high-risk situations, the private sector withdraws, but small industries, electronics, mines and funds, as well as in the agricultural sector, if they are gathered together, they will have great activities in the field. They support the knowledge of the foundations.
The Minister of Industry, Mines and Trade reminded: The proposal presented to transform these fields into a single group so that they work in their specialized field but collectively, with their funds, help the industry sector synergistically, and this is one of our concerns.
