Mesh in soil science refers to the granulation of the soil to be sifted. this means that the size of the soil particles to pass through the desired sieve is called mesh. A soil mass or powder is a combination of different granulations that includes a distribution of different sizes. For example, one kilogram of a powder can be 60 percent below 10 microns and the rest above 10 microns. micronized powder, as its name implies, is a micron-scale powder, and most of its granular composition is typically less than 20 microns. In order to create a scale for measuring powders and soil masses in terms of grain size and particle size in that micron scale is used, which is used as the standard mesh or mesh scale.
