According to the Tasnim news agency from Yazd, Hamidreza Nasirizadeh stated this morning at the strategic headquarters and resistance economy management of Yazd province, which was held in the Andisheh hall of the Yazd governorate, pointing out that 18% of the industry headquarters is dedicated to tiles and ceramics. A percentage of the province’s workshops and 31% of the workers and employees as well as 54% of the export value in 1993 took place in the tile and ceramic industry sector of Yazd province.
The head of the management and planning organization of Yazd province noted: The tile and ceramic industry of Yazd province has a higher productivity than the average of the country, which shows very good activities in this field in the province.
He stated that the textile industry of Yazd province has a share of 7.2% of the industrial production of the province and added: According to the presented indicators, this industry is less efficient than the average of the country.
The secretary of the strategic headquarters and management of the resistance economy of Yazd province, pointing out that the steel industry accounts for 46% of the production and formation of fixed capital of Yazd province, said: 90% of the capital of the province was given to this sector in 1992.
The head of the management and planning organization of Yazd province continued: 81% of employment in Yazd province is in the iron ore mining sector, and 66% is in terms of mining in the province.
In the end, he pointed out the characteristics of the agricultural sector in Yazd province and stated: Production in Yazd province was 4 tons, which is more than the national average.
